Plastering mortar wall bubbling, what is wrong?

There are unstable materials in the mortar; there is a problem with the cementitious material and the sand.

There is a high possibility that plaster has something wrong.
It is similar to the previous alkali-aggregate reaction.

This usually happens later phase. You are using tailing sand, right? The underlying mortar must have burst out.

It should be caused by active stone powder in the bottom cement mortar. Generally, the active matter will burst into dust after meeting with water in the later stage.

If you are using the AB compound type, you'd better replace it with a plasticizer and a two-component conditioning agent to adjust the amount according to the workers' on-site construction reactions.
