The samples sent by the additive manufacturer lasted about 20 hours on the wall. The first one was that he put in cellulose ether, but he felt that the cement had been pulverized and the powder fell seriously. So the second one was better without putting in the cellulose ether. So the product is like this, we have to wait a few days to see.

The first one dries very slowly on the wall. After the mortar dries on the wall for two or three hours, the powder will fall off when you rub it with your hands.
 
Is there any air-entraining agent added? Or you add too much bentonite. It just looks too bad.

Adding cellulose ether will not cause pulverization.

What product is this? Ordinary mortar? There are many recipes in the forum; find a recipe and try them, which should be better than this result.
 
Twenty hours are regular, and it takes three days for the strength to come up. Compared with mortar without additives, the initial strength is indeed lower. If the strength differs from the standard after three days, you should pay attention.
 
If it dries in two or three hours and you can rub it with your hands, then it means it not works; either you did not sprinkle water, or the water retention rate of the mortar itself is not reasonable since typically the mortar is still wet after two or three hours on the wall.
 
Different walls have different ways of getting wet. This is also related to the construction experience of the workers. Therefore, experiments should be done according to the actual construction site as much as possible; otherwise, the things from the laboratory will be completely different when they are brought to the construction site.
 
The initial setting time of cement takes three hours. Since the cement just starts to hydrate and harden, the mortar cannot have strength in three hours.
