How to judge the quality of Heavy Calcium Carbonate, and how to adjust the formula?

Today, I found a strange phenomenon. Under the same raw material formula, the workability of different Heavy Calcium Carbonate powders is different. Yet, the fineness of the two Heavy Calcium Carbonate powders is similar. The one with terrible performance is even better than the other, but the more you stir it, the thinner it will be, and it is dispersive and rough on the joint. However, the other has good performance, and the joint is smooth and neat. What is the reason?

Heavy Calcium Carbonate powder has various features based on different regions. Even from the exact location, the stone quality is different. If you want to make neutral putty with better quality, you’d better make adjustments while experimenting with the features.

It is not strange. The texture, construction, mesh number, and oil absorption decide the quality of Heavy Calcium Carbonate powders.
