If you don’t change the type of sand, there must be a problem. At least replaced with coarse sand.

Compared with the floor mortar, the intensity is higher. As mentioned above, the coarse sand needs to be replaced.

It cannot be replaced. The fineness modulus of the sand is different, and the compressive intensity of the sand is different, too.
