图片1.pngThe interior wall latex paint stored for three months has yellow spots and a sour smell on the surface, which is the smell of latex paint deterioration. They do not exist when it is newly produced. Three thousandths of the preservative and one-thousandth of the sodium benzoate are added to the formula, and the water added is filter water. There are two batches, one with problems and one without problems. The temperature did not exceed 50°C after the powder was added for high-speed dispersion. What is the main reason? Is it because of fermentation?

I recommend adding an inner bag for packaging. Care about the order of adding materials for latex paint.

First, look at what types of fungicides are and their quality. Next, check the PH value during production and then the maximum temperature during production. Many common fungicides are not heat-resistant, but I estimate that the temperature should have dropped when adding fungicides. Also, check the storage temperature. The yellow spots actually are an unstable system; water and oil in some auxiliaries are separated.

Suggest measuring the PH value of the latex paint just produced and the PH value of the problem product. It may be that the amount of preservative putting too much. If it is a single batch problem, you can check whether the anti-corrosion of the welding part inside the barrel is in good condition.
