What is the polymer mortar used for?

Is polymer mortar a general term for many mortars, or is it a product? What is it for?

Anything that adds polymer is called polymer mortar: cellulose ether, Redispersible Polymer powder, and starch ether. As long as some additives are added, it is called polymer mortar. But usually only called the material with adding Redispersible Polymer powder as polymer mortar.

Polymer bonding mortar, polymer plastering mortar, polymer anti-cracking mortar, waterproof polymer mortar, polymer insulation mortar. . .

If it contains Redispersible Polymer powder, it is called a polymer.
